Watson gains reps from Noel's absence; veteran experience valued despite injury history.

Veteran wide receiver positioned to gain significant reps and opportunity due to Noel's early training camp absence. Watson has been the odd man out in roster predictions despite being a Super Bowl-winning veteran; he played only three games since suffering a near-season-ending calf/achilles injury in September 2025, returned for the final game and Wild Card round, then suffered a concussion. Behind Tank Dell, Watson is the biggest unknown entity on the offense, having been targeted only four times last year but surprisingly started the first two weeks of the season. Offensive Coordinator Nick Caley appears to value his experience and blocking ability, giving him another opportunity to re-establish himself and use additional training camp reps to do so.
