Thomas had a disastrous second season but Harmon is willing to give him a pass as he clearly played with injuries throughout 2025. Thomas said at OTAs regarding his health, 'it doesn't hurt to run anymore.' While drops were an issue, that could easily be a fluke. When healthy, Thomas has alien-like athletic gifts and can explode off the line against press-man coverage. He needs to improve spatial awareness and coverage recognition against zone and correct mistakes working over the middle. The 2026 season will determine if he can play a multi-faceted role in a healthy offense or is best suited as a complementary vertical X-receiver. Harmon still wants to bet on his talent.
