Third-round rookie QB Carson Beck looked as good as he has all camp on Wednesday, throwing a deep ball early in 11-on-11 that was the kind of throw the Cardinals hoped for when they drafted him out of Miami. On Sunday, despite a respectable 13-for-20 completion percentage, Beck was visibly annoyed about one incomplete pass, slapping his hands together in frustration. He is competing with Kedon Slovis to be the third quarterback on the depth chart, and Jacoby Brissett has been mentoring him during practice, walking onto the field to discuss the offense with the rookie.
