Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart is a master of backyard football but has significant concerns about his ability to thrive in the pocket heading into his second season. According to Pro Football Focus, Dart was the worst quarterback in the league last season in terms of allowed pressure, at least partly responsible 39.1% of the time when pressured (50 pressures on 128 dropbacks under pressure). His tendency to leave the pocket too soon disrupts the pass game and puts blockers at a disadvantage, and this early scrambling also caused injury problems for him last year.
