Strange remains the top tight end for Jacksonville but will see his blocking workload reduced in 2026. Head coach Liam Coen plans to use Nate Boerkircher to share blocking duties, allowing Strange to split out more frequently or match up against linebackers and safeties rather than edge rushers. Strange missed time in 2025, and when he was healthy and productive, the Jaguars' record improved, making his availability and role flexibility a priority for the offense.
