Rams TE's rookie season appeared disappointing on surface with 11 catches on 25 targets in 350-plus snaps, but he flashed significantly on those 11 catches, averaging 21 yards per grab and catching three TDs. The Rams funneled the ball his way more and more as the season went on, showing how much faith Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford had in the rising prospect. Ferguson also showed he could hold his own as a blocker, which wasn't viewed as a major strength entering the league. With Tyler Higbee and Colby Parkinson remaining options, Ferguson will get every opportunity to shine this season, including preseason flash plays.
