Dart made his first start against the Chargers in Week 4 of the 2025 season, throwing a deep pass to Nabers on a free play in the second quarter—the play on which Nabers suffered his ACL and lateral meniscus tear. Dart has been working with Nabers during training camp, firing passes to him during individual drills and full-speed offensive work. Dart praised Nabers' presence, saying 'There is an aura that he has on the field that is exhilarating' and noting that everyone on the offense feels his presence because 'everyone knows where he's at.'
