Thin WR room gives McLaurin potential for increased volume and target share.

As things stand currently, McLaurin could be asked to carry a huge burden in the Commanders' passing attack. Deebo Samuel remains unsigned, while a potential Brandon Aiyuk addition seems much less likely than it did at the start of the offseason. It's possible that the Commanders add to their receiver room before the start of the year, but if they don't, McLaurin's top competition for targets would be a third-round rookie (Antonio Williams), a free agent tight end (Chig Okonkwo), and some other unproven receivers (Luke McCaffrey, Treylon Burks and Dyami Brown).
