Higgins is a second-year Texans WR being drafted outside the top-50 WRs and is listed as a favorite bet for WR1 breakout. In Weeks 8-18 of 2025, he had seven finishes as WR3 or better and ranked 24th in target per route run rate (24%), 38th in first downs per route run, 28th in yards per route run, and 25th in route win rate among 119 qualifying receivers. He flashed TD upside when Nico Collins was out (2-23-1, 4-43-1, 6-59-0). Entering Year 2, he provides standalone value as a full-time starter across from Collins but possesses high contingent upside should anything happen to Collins. The coaching staff believes Higgins can do much of what Collins can, making him a strong bench stash and depth piece.

Higgins put together one of the better rookie seasons (ADP 153), catching 41 passes for 525 yards and six touchdowns despite playing fewer than 60% of Houston's offensive snaps. His six receiving touchdowns tied Nico Collins for the team lead. Among rookie receivers, Higgins ranked fourth in receiving yards and tied for second in touchdowns, making the most of his limited opportunities. At 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, Higgins gives the Texans a physical outside receiver who has already proven he can convert scoring opportunities. Higgins is expected to take on a larger role opposite Collins after his playing time steadily increased throughout his rookie season. Higgins has an excellent chance to dramatically outperform an ADP outside of the top 100 if this offense takes a step forward with a competent run game.
