All Mattek Fantasy Football insights about Travis Kelce

PositiveValueJun 4, 2026
Kelce is going in the 11th or 12th round despite finishing TE9 overall last season with 193 PPR points. Eric Bieniemy believes he's being undervalued; while he may not finish top-3 at the position, he was the most dependable asset in fantasy when playing with Mahomes. With Rashee Rice in county lockup and Xavier Worthy dealing with a torn labrum (currently wearing a non-contact jersey at practice), Kelce should see increased target volume. The last time Kelce played with Eric Bieniemy as offensive coordinator, he finished as TE1 with 316 PPR points. Bieniemy projects Kelce can easily reach 200 PPR points and is a strong value in later draft stages.
PositiveProjectionMay 27, 2026
Kelce was drafted at pick 93 in a tight end premium format. In a 17-game season with Patrick Mahomes, his reception projection should be 85–95 receptions, potentially reaching 100 passes, especially if he replaces short-area Rashee Rice routes and Rice runs a more complete route tree. Kelce may struggle efficiency-wise and for YAC, but the format rewards receptions and he has one of the safest floors for tight ends. The source plans to start Kelce over Jordan Addison in week one and possibly throughout the season despite Addison's greater upside.
