Chase Brown simply isn't dynamic enough as a rusher to justify his RB9 price tag. He's averaging 3.6 yards per attempt (YPA), 2.6 yards after contact per attempt (YCO/A) and hasn't posted a single breakaway run this season. If Brown continues to have 11-target games as he did in Week 4, he can hit from a fantasy perspective, but I doubt that kind of receiving volume is remotely sustainable.

Brown's poor rushing efficiency and unsustainable receiving volume don't support RB9.

Brown isn't dynamic enough as a rusher to justify his RB9 price tag, averaging 3.6 yards per attempt (YPA), 2.6 yards after contact per attempt (YCO/A), and posting zero breakaway runs this season. His Week 4 receiving volume (11 targets) was likely a one-off product of Ja'Marr Chase's injury and is not sustainable.
