Rome Odunze finally gave us a useful game, but the 6 targets and 88% route participation were identical to Week 3. More play-action, up to 38%, helped his route value climb into the 58th percentile, but catching all 6 targets also turned essentially the same opportunity into a much better result.

Odunze's catch rate masked flat deployment; deep-threat role limits upside despite route share.

Odunze finally delivered a useful game with 6 targets and 88% route participation (identical to Week 3), but increased play-action to 38% only helped route value climb to the 58th percentile. Catching all 6 targets turned essentially the same opportunity into a much better result, masking underlying deployment concerns. His season-long 16% TPRR matches expectation with little reason in route data to project a big increase. Tyson Bagent is expected to start again, and Chicago has shown willingness to lean on the run game. The deep-threat deployment makes him hard to trust. Receiver Score model prefers Downs, DK Metcalf, Jameson Williams, and Jaylen Waddle.
