Yahoo Sports NFL on Jacory Croskey-Merritt

Croskey-Merritt's sub-2 YPC over two games raises efficiency concerns.

Croskey-Merritt is averaging less than four yards per carry over four games, dropping to less than two yards per carry over the last two games with Rachaad White unavailable. Despite being expected to fit well with offensive coordinator David Blough's outside-zone rushing scheme, he has not delivered on that promise; his explosiveness and decisiveness into the second level, which were his best features last season, have not materialized this season outside of a penalty-negated play.
