Yahoo Sports NFL on KaVontae Turpin

Turpin's kickoff return sparks second-half offense in back-to-back weeks.

KaVontae Turpin, an All-Pro/Pro Bowl player, has flown under the radar with limited offensive role due to the emergence of Ryan Flournoy from last season, shifting his focus to special teams. His kickoff return to start the second half jump-started the offense and gave them the boost they desperately needed. The source notes it's back-to-back weeks now that Turpin has had good moments in the return team setting up the offense for a scoring drive, and if the Cowboys defense can force more punts, Turpin could carry the same success in another area of the return game.
