Evans is second among receivers in EPA per route run despite dealing with groin, hip and rib injuries. He has been instrumental for the 49ers, who are the best offense in football by EPA per play and by far the best passing offense by EPA per dropback. Evans' route running is very sharp and looks healthy despite injuries. He has only four targets of 20 or more air yards on the season, suggesting there is more upside if the 49ers activate him more in the deep part of the field, a strength of his game because of his size and speed combination.
