these are just really poor fundamentals from Kaleb Johnson. Near the goal line, you have to be going through the traffic with two hands on the ball... he just keeps it in one, and has it stripped out from the side where there is the greatest threat. These are mistakes that just can't be made at the college level, let alone in the NFL.

Johnson's goal-line fumble and failed execution expose critical fundamental flaws.

Johnson's fundamental issues are severe and recurring. On a goal-line fumble against Tampa, he carried the ball in one hand despite heavy traffic, allowing the ball to be stripped from the side with the greatest threat—a mistake the source says cannot be made at the college level, let alone in the NFL. Additionally, on a designed duo play where Johnson was supposed to get one-on-one with a cornerback, he failed to execute or even attempt to attack the defender, wasting an opportunity the play was specifically designed to create.
