Nix's improved field vision and outlet awareness reducing scramble rate as designed.

Bo Nix is being coached to balance running instinct with structured passing concepts; the Broncos coaching staff emphasizes calming down his scrambling tendencies relative to the team's designed boots and movements, while selectively using perimeter runs on third downs when coverage dictates. Nix notes he's seeing the field better and knowing his outlets, which has reduced his rushing attempts early in the season.
