Hartman on practice squad; unclear if he'll be elevated if Mariota unavailable.

Sam Hartman remains on the Commanders' practice squad as a third-string quarterback option; the Notre Dame product is in his third season with Washington but has never played a regular-season snap for the team. It is unclear whether the Commanders will elevate Hartman if Mariota cannot play, and they cannot designate him as an emergency third-string quarterback because he is not on the 53-man roster.
