Yahoo Sports NFL on Jalon Daniels

Undrafted rookie Daniels went 19-of-25 for 189 yards, 1 TD, 0 INTs in first start.

The 23-year-old undrafted rookie made his first start under the lights in Dallas and showed poise without looking fazed. Daniels completed 19 of 25 passes for 189 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions while being sacked just once. Though his pocket awareness was questionable at times and he played it safe with throws, he delivered the simple, efficient performance Tampa Bay needed to secure a win. The source notes flashes of competence and questions whether he can sustain this with Mayfield sidelined longer.
