McBride ranks second in the NFL in short-pass receiving yards (184) and is one of Arizona's two very good receivers in the short-to-intermediate game. He is a key player to watch against Detroit's historically bad pass defense, which has allowed 20 passes of 20+ yards (three more than any other team) and ranks 26th in PFF coverage grade (49.8). The Lions' underneath coverage has been nearly as damaging as their deep coverage, allowing +0.09 EPA/play on short passes (21st).
