The matchup with the Lions is a great one, but the Lions pass defense (most YPG allowed) has been notably better than their run defense (12th YPG allowed). There is still plenty of fantasy points going to RBs (14th).

STACKED’s take

Positive signalMatchup

Lions' weak run defense and Cardinals' high team total support Love as upside RB2/3.

The matchup with the Lions is favorable; while the Lions pass defense allows the most YPG, their run defense ranks 12th in YPG allowed. RBs still receive plenty of fantasy points (14th overall), so Love's weekly upside remains intact. The Cardinals' 24-point team total supports starting Love as an upside RB2/3 despite potential increased Tyler Allgeier usage due to injury.
