Yahoo Sports NFL on Zach Ertz

Ertz's third elevation is final; roster signing needed if Goedert stays healthy.

Ertz was temporarily elevated from the practice squad for Week 5 against Jacksonville; this is his third and final elevation for the 2026 regular season. The Eagles will need to sign him to the active roster if they want him available for future games. With Dallas Goedert returning from injury, Ertz's snap count is uncertain; he played 19 snaps (38%) in Week 3 at Chicago and 14 snaps (21%) in Week 4 vs. Los Angeles when Goedert was out. The Eagles could have four active tight ends with Johnny Mundt and E.J. Jenkins also in the mix.
