Gilliam out at least four weeks; highest-paid FB sidelined with knee/ankle injury.

Fullback placed on injured reserve with knee and ankle issues; will miss at least four games (Raiders, Jets, Bears, Dolphins) and is ineligible to return to practice until early November. Despite signing a three-year, $10.8 million contract making him the highest-paid fullback in the NFL, Gilliam had played only 22% of offensive snaps and 41% of special teams snaps before injury, indicating his role was still a work in progress.
