Taylor's return bolsters Jets' passing and run game after inconsistent backup play.

Taylor's return provides Geno Smith another weapon in the passing game and strengthens the Jets' run game with Taylor's blocking ability. Taylor emphasized his role in both facets: 'I think I was doing some good things in the run game and showing up in the pass.' His return addresses the Jets' offensive depth after rookie Kenyon Sadiq showed inconsistency (seven catches for 105 yards and a touchdown against Detroit, then zero catches in Chicago).
