Jones confident for Week 1 start after Achilles tear; rehab effort impressive.

Jones tore his Achilles in Week 14 against the Jags and signed a two-year, $88 million deal in March in part because of the Colts' 7-1 start; he participated in mandatory minicamp individual drills and said he'll be working on running faster, cutting harder, and progressing; when asked if he'll be ready to be the Week 1 starter, he answered without hesitation with a one-word answer: absolutely; the question with quarterbacks coming off Achilles is how effective they'll be out of the gate, but Jones is younger and has been unbelievable in attacking his rehab, making it a surprise if he's not ready Week 1.
