Yahoo Sports NFL on Brennan Presley
From the article
Brennan Presley is on the Rams' practice squad and he could be the answer to rekindle some explosivity to their return game if they call him up...he leaves Stillwater as the all time receptions leader and amassed 315 rec 3,315 yards 23 Tds...1427 in kickoff return yardage, and 240 yards on punt returns...Presley is not what I would grade as a 'can't miss' returner, but does bring the right skillset and background.
STACKED’s take
Presley's college pedigree and return game skills could solve Rams' special teams woes.
Undrafted 2025 signee on Rams practice squad; 5'8", 175 lb receiver/returner with elite college production (315 receptions, 3,315 yards, 23 TDs at Oklahoma State) and strong return game credentials (1,427 kickoff return yards, 240 punt return yards). Posted solid athletic testing (4.46 40-time, 6.71 shuttle, 4.07 3-cone) with plus burst, balance, and short-area agility. Jitterbug open-field style with slippery change of direction and willingness to beat first tackler; played running back in high school and runs with physicality despite size. Predominantly slot receiver at OSU but saw reps outside, in bunch sets, and in motion; showed good hands, ball tracking, and body control. Can work as gunner on coverage units and was lauded for work ethic, leadership, and competitive drive. John Fassell notes he brings the right skillset and background for return duties, though not graded as a 'can't miss' returner; his darting style hasn't been seen in pro game but looked solid in preseason. Available at very good price as versatile special teams piece with offensive upside.
