LaPorta cited as elite Lions TE; Jets' room deemed deeper and more talented.

Sam LaPorta was cited by Tim Patrick as part of the 2024 Lions offense that went 15-2. Patrick noted that while LaPorta is great, the Jets' tight end room is deeper and more talented, with five tight ends dressed every week and the ability to deploy different tight ends in different situations.
