It's not a coincidence that the offense took off when Winston started feeding that duo in the second half. Free agency acquisition tight end Isaiah Likely is a big reason why New York has been able to maintain any semblance of a coherent passing game despite fill-in quarterback Jameis Winston ranking second-to-last in the league in completion percentage at 57.6%.

Winston's extended contract and second-half chemistry with Nabers/Likely show Giants' confidence.

Fill-in QB after Jaxson Dart's season-ending knee injury in Week 2; despite ranking second-to-last in completion percentage at 57.6%, has shown chemistry with top playmakers Malik Nabers and Isaiah Likely; coaches opened up passing game and went no-huddle in second half of Commanders tie, and offense 'took off' when Winston started feeding that duo; extended on two-year deal with real money, signaling team confidence in his ability to win games if needed.
