STACKED’s take
Strange leads Jaguars' middle-field targets with elite route rate and efficiency metrics.
Brenton Strange has emerged as Jacksonville's primary pass-catcher in the middle of the field over the last three weeks, leading the Jaguars with 26.3% of targets in that area. His profile since Week 3 is encouraging: 77.5% route rate (11th among qualifying TEs), 26.6% targets per route run (5th), and 2.47 yards per route run (2nd). His on-field deployment shows just a 10.2% pass-blocking snap rate, and his efficiency and target-earning ability check four of five key TE metrics. Against Houston (Week 7), the Texans have faced only two TEs with consistent roles and gave up 185 yards on 16 targets to Dalton Kincaid and Tyler Warren, suggesting Strange should be a productive asset.
