McConkey's status is uncertain due to a rib injury; monitor contact tolerance

McConkey is dealing with a rib injury that has kept him out of practice. His availability depends on contact tolerance, though players can often play through such injuries with pain management. If he plays, he remains a key part of the Chargers' offense, similar to JSN's role last year.
