FantasyPros Articles on Bo Nix
From the article
fantasy players should avoid starting him as anything more than a low-end QB2 on Thursday night against the Seahawks. Seattle has held quarterbacks to 12.5 fantasy points per game, the fifth-fewest in the NFL.
STACKED’s take
Nix is a landmine QB2 against Seattle's elite pass defense; avoid starting.
Nix is a landmine start in Week 6 against Seattle despite the Broncos' trade for Jaylen Waddle. He completed only 59.3% of passes for 123 yards and 7.9 fantasy points last week after the play-caller change to Sean Payton. Nix has averaged just 13 fantasy points per game this season, totaling 14.1 or fewer in all but one game. His passing yards (188.4 per game) and yards per attempt (5.8) are both down from last year (231.2 & 6.4), with a significant leg injury playing a role. Seattle's defense has held quarterbacks to 12.5 fantasy points per game (fifth-fewest in NFL) and surrendered 9.8 or fewer fantasy points in three matchups. Brock Purdy managed only 189 passing yards and 16.2 fantasy points against Seattle last week despite San Francisco scoring 32 points. Avoid starting Nix as anything more than a low-end QB2.
