The Steelers' backfield was perceived to be a timeshare between Rico Dowdle and Jaylen Warren, with Dowdle ostensibly the preferred option on early downs. Warren has changed those plans... Over the last three weeks, Warren has rolled up 321 rushing yards, 169 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Jahmyr Gibbs, Bijan Robinson and Kyren Williams are the only RBs to have scored more half-point PPR fantasy points than Warren since Week 3.

Warren has locked in lead-back role; only Gibbs, Robinson, Williams ahead in PPR points since Week 3.

Jaylen Warren has seized the Steelers' lead-back role after Rico Dowdle suffered a double toe dislocation in Week 2. Over the last three weeks, Warren has accumulated 321 rushing yards, 169 receiving yards, and two touchdowns. Only Jahmyr Gibbs, Bijan Robinson, and Kyren Williams have scored more half-point PPR fantasy points than Warren since Week 3. Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy has made clear that Warren is now Pittsburgh's lead back, with no pretense of Dowdle reclaiming his early-season role despite Dowdle practicing this week.
