Saints QB Jameis Winston is the starting quarterback against the Giants, fulfilling a long-held dream. Winston signed with New Orleans in 2020 initially to back up Drew Brees and compete to succeed him. After his early career as a starter with Tampa Bay, he did not abandon his goal of being a starter again in the NFL. Winston said: 'I dreamt of it. And now it's here.' This represents a significant narrative arc for the veteran quarterback.
