Manhertz described the Jameis Winston experience as 'pretty damn good to me.' He characterized Winston's approach on the field as 'all business'—'extremely detailed, he's diligent in his process.' Manhertz emphasized Winston's communication style with the offense: 'the way that he communicates with us as an offensive individually is somebody that wants to be aligned in everything we do collectively as an offense.' Manhertz noted the separation between Winston's off-field persona and his on-field focus: 'Off the field is off the field, but once we come in this building it's all business to try to get a win.'
