Yahoo Sports NFL on Jeremiyah Love
From the article
Love has scored six or fewer fantasy points in three of his last four games, with just 2.2 against the Lions last Sunday. He's had just two targets the last two weeks (combined). To top it all off, Love is reportedly still dealing with lingering effects from his preseason ankle injury, missing practice this week as a result.
STACKED’s take
Love's 2.2 points last week and ankle injury make him a fade; outside RB2 range vs. Rams.
Love has scored six or fewer fantasy points in three of his last four games (2.2 against the Lions last Sunday) with just two targets over the last two weeks despite Jacoby Brissett's 82 pass attempts. He hasn't scored a rushing touchdown since Week 1 and his 3% explosive run rate is second-lowest among qualified running backs. Over the past four weeks, Love has been outscored by Tony Pollard, MarShawn Lloyd, and Brian Robinson Jr. along with 25 others, and his one 19.4-point performance against the 49ers looks like an aberration. He's reportedly still dealing with lingering effects from his preseason ankle injury and missed practice this week. Against the Rams, who hadn't allowed a running back to score a touchdown or top-12 fantasy points until James Cook III on Monday night, Love is outside RB2 territory and might be outside FLEX territory if he's even active.
