Yahoo Sports NFL on Jeremiyah Love

Love averaging 3.7 YPC, 11 receptions in five games; underperforming No. 3 pick expectations.

Through five games, Love has underperformed expectations as the No. 3 overall pick, averaging just 3.7 yards per carry with no runs exceeding 20 yards and only 11 receptions across five games, making him largely a non-factor in the pass game. The source notes his 'so-so play through the first five weeks' has not lived up to the hype that had analysts touting him as one of the best running back prospects in recent NFL draft history.
