Wilson faces elite CB Gonzalez; Cooper/Sadiq returns should ease coverage.

Star wideout will face top cornerback Christian Gonzalez in the AFC East opener against the Patriots. The return of Omar Cooper Jr. and Kenyon Sadiq aims to ease the burden on Wilson, as the Jets have managed only 29 points over the past two games and rank 23rd in passing, 26th in total offense, and 27th in points scored. The Jets used two first-round picks on Cooper and Sadiq partly to reduce dependence on Wilson every Sunday.
