Yahoo Sports NFL on Cam Skattebo

Skattebo benched after fumbles; zero touches in Week 6 despite talent.

Skattebo was effectively benched in Week 6 after last week's fumbling issues, playing only a handful of snaps with zero touches (0 carries, 0 receptions, 0 yards, 0 TDs, 0 fantasy points). Coach John Harbaugh downplayed the benching, saying it "wasn't by design" and attributed it to game flow, but the source notes this is an unusually severe punishment for fumbling. Skattebo acknowledged the discipline: "I got punished for what I did (from last week). I understand it so I gotta be ready when coach calls my name and that wasn't today." Until Skattebo is reintegrated into the game plan, he cannot be trusted in fantasy lineups despite his talent.
