Yahoo Sports NFL on Cam Skattebo

Skattebo benched after overtime fumble; zero carries despite playing snaps.

Skattebo was benched and did not receive a single carry after last Sunday's overtime fumble, despite playing a handful of snaps. Head coach John Harbaugh held Skattebo accountable for his fumble issues (four fumbles in five weeks), starting Najee Harris instead. The source notes that while Skattebo's 3.6 yards per carry average wasn't elite, the Giants' putrid run-blocking was the primary issue, not Skattebo's availability.
