Leading the Jets with 103 yards and a touchdown in his first game off injured reserve, Cooper is now definitely something. He's probably at the very least deserving of a 12-team roster spot.

Cooper's 103 yards and TD off IR warrant roster consideration despite limited ceiling.

Cooper led the Jets with 103 yards and a touchdown in his first game off injured reserve, earning at least a 12-team roster spot. However, his ceiling is capped by Garrett Wilson drawing elite coverage and Cooper's 48-yard touchdown coming on a deep ball where he had to stop to catch it rather than sustained run-of-play production. The Jets have multiple promising young receivers but limited target distribution under Geno Smith and Frank Reich; Cooper merits a roster spot given the Dolphins matchup ahead, though he may not be a consistent weekly play.
