STACKED’s take
Bernard's 11-of-12 targets, 94% snap share, and game-winner make him a must-roster WR3/FLEX.
The rookie wideout was the focal point of Pittsburgh's offense against Tampa Bay, hauling in 11-of-12 targets for 87 yards and the game-winning score in overtime. Bernard barely left the field, logging 94% of offensive snaps and running a route on all but two dropbacks. He moved into the slot more in this game, an advantageous position in Mike McCarthy's offense. The source emphasizes the opportunity is even more exciting because Pittsburgh's offense is very fantasy-friendly for pass-catchers, ranking fifth in dropback over expected (5%), fifth in dropback rate (66%), second in dropback rate when leading by 4+ points, and leading the NFL in dropback rate from inside the 10-yard line at over 80%. Given injuries to Pittsburgh's wide receiver room, Bernard should be rostered in every fantasy league and is probably a weekly WR3/FLEX.
