Andy Dalton is signing with Atlanta...If Penix stays healthy, Dalton will stay on the sideline, but that's a pretty big 'if,' and Dalton may just become the fifth quarterback to play for the Falcons this season.

Dalton joins Falcons as backup; fantasy value tied to Penix injury risk.

Dalton signed with the Falcons after turning down an Eagles contract offer; he will serve as a backup quarterback in Atlanta's crowded QB room. The Falcons have already cycled through four quarterbacks this season (Rush, Michael Penix, Jack Strand, and Tua Tagovailoa), and Dalton may become the fifth to play for the team if Penix's health falters. His fantasy relevance depends entirely on Penix's durability.
