Yahoo Sports NFL on Jameis Winston
From the article
Jameis has done a great job in so many ways … and did what he had to do to win games, and that's something you value very much.
STACKED’s take
Winston 2-1-1 starter; led prior comeback but lacks McCarthy's rushing upside.
Winston holds a 2-1-1 record as the Giants starter and is competing with J.J. McCarthy for the starting job against the Texans. Head coach John Harbaugh praised Winston's performance: 'Jameis has done a great job in so many ways … and did what he had to do to win games, and that's something you value very much.' One week prior to McCarthy's fourth-quarter performance, Winston led a 14-point fourth-quarter comeback with three touchdown passes in similar hurry-up circumstances. Unlike McCarthy, Winston does not add the same level of athleticism and rushing threat that the Giants have missed since Jaxson Dart's season-ending injury, though he does hit his own strengths.
