Purdy is playing very well but needs receiver help given the 49ers' depleted receiver room due to Mike Evans' injury, Deebo Samuel Sr.'s hamstring injury, and multiple receivers on injured reserve. The offense struggled in the second half against a team with 67 net yards (65 on the first drive), which is hard to believe from a Shanahan-coached team, as the 49ers were forced to play receivers who were nowhere near their season plans.
