Yahoo Sports NFL on Brock Purdy

Purdy's ceiling drops without Evans' 23.5% target share and downfield production.

With Mike Evans sidelined, J.J. McCarthy is worried about Brock Purdy's ceiling. He is less comfortable counting on explosive passing production if Evans misses multiple games. The 49ers' offense loses a significant portion of its downfield threat without Evans' 23.5% target share and 42.5% air yards.
