Shaheed converted a two-point attempt but was the fallback option in tight design.

On the two-point conversion against Denver, Shaheed's route developed from the opposite side of the field after Darnold was put in motion toward one side, effectively narrowing the space the defense had to defend. Darnold threw in Shaheed's direction and he made a good play to secure the catch, converting the two-point attempt. However, the play design left very little margin for error once the primary options (Cooper Kupp and Jaxon Smith-Njigba) were covered, making Shaheed the only meaningful alternative.
