Yahoo Sports NFL on Geno Smith

Darnold's 51-attempt, 278-yard, 2-INT performance shows continued QB struggles.

Darnold finished with 278 passing yards but needed 51 attempts to get there, threw two interceptions and failed to throw a touchdown pass; the quarterback is struggling with processing errors and poor execution, including a major processing error on the second interception where he misread a Tampa 2 invert look and threw short to Shaheed deep.
