Brown's tough early schedule masked efficiency; snap share and catch pace support RB1 upside.

Pat Fitzmaurice argues that despite the perception Chase Brown is having a bad season and being below league average in success rate, expected points added per attempt, and yards after contact per attempt, he has faced a murderous schedule with four of his first five opponents ranking inside the top 10 in DVOA against the run. The good news is Brown is on pace for 82 catches and has a higher snap share (70.5%) than in 2025 (66.4%); his rushing numbers should improve as his schedule eases, and backup Samaje Perine is not a threat to his workhorse role. Fitzmaurice recommends RB-needy fantasy gamers try to acquire Brown for a receiver such as Garrett Wilson or Tetairoa McMillan.
