STACKED’s take

Positive signalProjection

Lane's scramble-situation reliability and off-script ability project well for Lamar Jackson's return.

Lane's quarterback-friendly positioning and ability to work back toward Huntley during scramble situations should translate particularly well once Lamar Jackson returns, given how much of Baltimore's passing offense can be generated through Jackson's ability to extend plays. Source comparison: Isaiah Likely, former Ravens tight end, based on Lane's ability to make himself available and create opportunities outside of structure; could develop into similar off-script weapon while providing physical possession receiver for middle of field.
