Vele's cooling production faces elite Steelers pass defense in Week 7.

Vele is a Week 7 lineup landmine despite being the WR25 for the season, averaging 11.6 PPR fantasy points per game. He has cooled off significantly after a hot start, averaging eight targets and 15.7 fantasy points per game over the first two weeks (11.4 or more in both matchups) but only 6.8 targets and 9.5 fantasy points per game over the past four weeks (7.2 or fewer in all but one contest). The Saints' offense has also cooled, averaging 27 points per game over the first three weeks but only 23.4 points per game over their past three matchups. Pittsburgh's pass defense has been outstanding, holding wide receivers to 28.6 fantasy points per game, the sixth-fewest in the NFL, allowing 22.6 or fewer in half of their matchups, and giving up only one receiving touchdown to wide receivers over the past three weeks.
